An exciting seasonal opportunity is now available for an experienced and energetic Stewardess/Cook to join a beautiful 76ft private motor yacht based in the stunning Whitsundays.

This is the perfect role for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys delivering exceptional guest experiences, and has a genuine passion for both hospitality and cooking.

The yacht operates primarily as a day vessel, with no overnight trips, and runs with a professional crew of three. Crew will enjoy the unique lifestyle of being based on Hamilton Island, with private self-contained accommodation provided for the duration of the season.

The Role

You will be responsible for all aspects of the yacht’s interior, including:

  • High-level housekeeping and detailing
  • Guest service and hosting
  • Interior organisation and presentation
  • Preparing fresh, wholesome meals for owners and guests
  • Catering for 2 guests on a regular basis, with occasional entertaining for up to 10 guests

We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, highly organised, and able to maintain exceptional standards in a busy environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and proactive approach are essential.

Lifestyle & Schedule

  • Hamilton Island seasonal position
  • Private crew apartments provided
  • 5-day working week
  • Guest activity generally operates on a roster of 3 weekends on / 1 weekend off
  • Day trips only – no overnight stays onboard

This position would suit someone active, social, and excited about spending the winter season in one of Australia’s most iconic boating destinations.

Package

  • Salary: AUD $2,200 per week
  • Completion bonus: 1 month bonus upon successful completion of the season

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years industry experience
  • Strong service and housekeeping background
  • Passion for cooking and preparing quality home-style meals
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Self-sufficient, adaptable, and proactive
