Are you a yacht chef in the Asia/Aus/NZ region looking for a seasonal contract?

📍 Duration: 1st June -1st of September
📍 Location: Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia
📍 Contract: Initial 3-month contract with strong potential for future trips later in the year
💶 Salary: €7,000–€8,000 per month (higher for an exceptional candidate)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Yacht Chef to join a beautiful 43m sailing yacht cruising through Indonesia and beyond.

You’ll be joining a friendly, multinational crew of 7, (6-8 guests) with an excellent onboard atmosphere and a professional yet relaxed environment. The ideal candidate will be confident preparing fresh, high-quality meals for both guests and crew, with the ability to adapt menus and provisioning while cruising remote regions.

Cuisine Preferences
We are particularly interested in chefs with experience in:
• Italian cuisine
• French cuisine
• Mediterranean cuisine
• Asian cuisine
• Pastry and baking experience highly desirable

The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Have previous sailing yacht experience
• Be confident provisioning in remote locations
• Work well independently while remaining organised and adaptable
• Maintain a positive attitude and integrate well within a close-knit team
• Be comfortable catering for dietary requirements (one crew member is vegan)

• Current crew are mature professionals, approximately 40 years
• Preference for a male candidate due to cabin arrangements
