An excellent opportunity has become available for a chief engineer to join a 60m private SY currently in French Polynesia on a 10:10 rotation
The vessel is used strictly for private use by a seasoned superyacht owner with a healthy operational budget. (only moderate usage)
Powered by twin Volva Penta’s 1,044 kW | 1,400 HP
The vessel is heading Westward through the Pacific with long-term cruising plans for the region.
Experienced 2nd engineer for support & sole cabin occupancy
The position could suit an Australian / NZ chief engineering looking for a rotation role closer to home. (but open to candidates worldwide)
The Ideal Candidate
- Y3 COC minimum
- Sail Yacht engineering experience (essential)
- Longevity in previous roles
- High level of professionalism
- Good technical experience
- Easy communication style
- STCW, Seafarer Medical
Start: ASAP
Rotation: 10 weeks on/off
