The vessel operates duals season Med / Caribbean, with yard times usually completed in Europe.
The vessel is a popular charter yacht and will likely have a full schedule with tips (during season)
The vessel is well maintained and has a further 2 X engineers onboard for support for the chief to oversee, 2nd engineers on equal time
The vessel is looking for longevity and is fine with rotations from the Southern Hemisphere (Australia / NZ)
The Ideal Candidate
Start: Flexible, within 3 months,
Salary: 10,000€-11,000€ / month DOE as a guide
Rotation: 2/2 months On/Off + Flights

Handover given and plenty of technical support.
Must have previous chief engineer experience on vessels over 50m and can hit the ground running.
Minimum of a Y1/Y2 , SV chief or commercial equivalent, STCW and seafarer medical.

The vessel is low use and is used for private trips only, consisting of mostly day / weekend style cruises.
The Chief engineer will have solid engineering backup on this vessel with plenty of engineering support.
Ideally starting within 4 weeks for a handover with the outgoing chief engineer
The yacht is very flexible on location and nationality and will consider engineers worldwide.
The vessel is also flexible if the chief engineer would prefer to live onboard or ashore in Sydney
The vessel has the option for sponsoring a foreign engineer and therefore could be a unique opportunity for a foreign passport holder to live and work out in Sydney, Australia
The position could also suit an Australian / NZ chief engineer wanting a shore-based existence in one location.
This is a non-rotational role but will be based on 5 day working week with reasonable working hours.

The vessel operates, twin MTU engines & twin Northern Lights generators
The yacht spends all its time in QLD, being Gold Coast based between February to July and Whitsundays based August to February
The yacht is fine with rotating chief engineers within Australia / NZ region as a preference
Shared cabin / bathroom, fun and active crew, watersports program onboard
The Ideal Candidate
Salary: $145,000-$150,000 AUD + Super DOE
Rotation: 6 weeks On/Off OR 4 weeks On/Off
