Replacing the outgoing HM of 5 years + should speak volumes of both the role and the family expectation on longevity and house manager/owner relationship
The family resides overseas and utilises the residence from November to March each year.
The House Manager will be responsible for ensuring their stay is both memorable and that everything at the residence is fully functional.
From organisning flower arrangements to ensuring the water toys / equipment is ready to roll the HM will be highly organised and dedicated to ensuring the family has a pleasant stay.
The residence is home to fine art , interior elevators, high tec equipment, swimming pool, gardens and the HM should be comfortable dealing with trades and contractors.
April to October the family resides overseas and the HM will use this time to focus on house projects and keeping the residence in excellent shape.
The role also has the potential (for the right candidate) to include family representation both in and out of country when they are on trip and therefore may include some international travel.
The role will have a soft commencement between December – March , giving the opportunity to meet the family / have a handover with the outgoing HM and a trial, with a permanent fulltime commencement from March 2026

A HNW family is on the search for a house manager for their beautiful Melbourne property in Toorak.
The House Manager will oversee the full functioning of the residence and must be confident to organise trades and contractors.
The residence has a series of support staff coming / going from cleaners three times / week, gardeners, pool cleaners, vehicles servicemen & trades.
Tasks will also include shopping, receiving deliveries, maintenance schedules of appliances, pets, occasional food prep
The House Manager will still be required to do some basic housekeeping and laundry but all deep cleans/ detailing performed by the regular cleaners

The Ideal Candidate

The vessel is open to making the position a seasonal or full-time role, would be open to extra unpaid leave between guest trips.

The vessel is low use and is used for private trips only, consisting of mostly day / weekend style cruises.
The Chief engineer will have solid engineering backup on this vessel with plenty of engineering support.

The yacht is very flexible on location and nationality and will consider engineers worldwide.

The vessel is used for relaxed private trips only
The stewardess will be the sole stew onboard so will need prior experience in both service & housekeeping.
The owner will also consider a stew/cook , although the owner is also fine taking care of themselves with the food requirement if the stewardess is not that way inclined.
Salary: (stewardess) $350-$400 AUD / day DOE (regular days)
(stew/cook) $400-$450 AUD / day DOE (regular days)
Penalty rates for major days NYE / public holidays
*Some days like Xmas the crew will not be required.
