Narooma is an up & coming coastal town on the NSW South Coast, with pristine surf beaches, acclaimed eatery’s and epic mountain bike trails, where the rural green meets the coastal blue

 

The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining well-presented houses in a welcoming and organised environment. The role is varied and diverse and includes looking after the properties, animals and vegetable garden. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic and enjoys working both indoors and outdoors plus thrives on task variety, multi-tasking and managing a range of tasks within working hours. 

 

The House Manager will manage a team of 2 and will also work closely with the exterior manager, farm hands and other core principal stakeholders including the EA.

This is largely a non-guest in managerial position as the owner largely looks after themselves when in residence and the House Manager is not required to perform service or concierge duties but should be on standby for any property issues that may arise

 

Replacing the house manager of several years, the HM will inherit pre built interior procedures, checklists and interior guides

 

Core days are Monday to Friday with the possibility of afterhours if needing to tend to an issue

 

Open to candidates relocating and can temporarily assist with sourcing accommodation until the house manager is able to find a suitable rental (live out role)

The Role

You will be reporting directly to the Principals of the family and responsible for the management of a portfolio of seven property assets that cover suburban residential Brisbane, Sunshine Coast Hinterland and coastal Noosa. Management of the properties will require liasing with staff members, contractors and external stakeholders to ensure each property is impeccably presented and available as required – either for paid guests or for the family’s use.

You will be responsible for recruiting and managing the team, which will likely include cleaners and gardeners, all of whom will be working across the properties on a full-time basis.

Working to a budget, you will need to implement scheduling of staff to ensure the properties are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation, whilst the 3.5ha extensive gardens of the 25ha hinterland properties are impeccably kept.

You will be travelling between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast regularly to ensure the team is on track and delivering to the outcomes required.
