A 32m Private use MY with plans to carry out an extensive engineering and cosmetic refit through 2025 in Thailand and then cruising to South Pacific in 2026 is seeking a Mate/ Engineer.
There is an international crew onboard , absolute nonsmokers, drama free hope to find candidates that are hardworking, fun and shall fit in and join the program.
Ideally looking for a hands-on candidate that has some engineering experience that will help out during the shipyard / refit period. Must be able to work unsupervised and be proactive in identifying tasks and planning his time efficiently.
Min STCW 2010, Powerboat 2, tender handling, AEC or other carpentry, engineering or mechanical skills. Fiberglass, painting or other skills are also a great advantage.
Plenty of opportunity for the Mate to drive the boat and must be comfortable with watchkeeping and navigation.
The boat shall be based in Thailand for the next 12 months minimum so ideally seeking someone who is already in or familiar with the area.
Salaries shall be negotiated depending on experience and skills they can bring to the program.
Ideally looking to start around 20th November in Phuket, Thailand.
