Working within a leading global superyacht insurance company with great office culture, work flexibility and sales incentives, the position would suit a superyacht professional with some technical superyacht knowledge and ideally a business or sales bakground.

Sydney Location: Northern Beaches

Gold Coast Location: Coomera

Account Executive Sales (Key Responsibilities)

  1. Client Consultation and Needs Assessment
    • Engage with prospective and existing customers to identify their specific boat insurance needs.
    • Educate clients on available coverage options, policy terms, and benefits to ensure informed decision-making.
    • Customize insurance solutions to fit the client’s unique circumstances and preferences.

 

  1. Customer Relationship Management
    • Foster long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication, follow-ups, and support.
    • Assist with policy renewals, amendments, and other services to maintain client satisfaction and retention.
    • Resolve customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

 

  1. Policy Management and Compliance
    • Work closely with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other internal teams to support policy issuance and maintenance.
    • Ensure all customer interactions, policy documents, and sales activities are documented in the appropriate systems.

 

  1. Market Awareness and Product Knowledge
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the boat and marine insurance market, including competitor products and services.
    • Keep abreast of changes in insurance regulations and industry trends to better advise clients and enhance sales approaches.
    • Participate in training programs and continuous learning opportunities to enhance product expertise and sales effectiveness.

 

 

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Ability to clearly explain policy features, negotiate terms, and address client questions or concerns.
  • Organizational Skills: Effective time management, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client interactions simultaneously.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, sales software, and basic office tools.
  • Boat Knowledge

 

Salary: Depending on Experience , Circa: $80,000-$130,000 AUD / Year DOE + Incentives
